Beginners Obedience

Beginners Obedience – Thursday evenings from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The cost of the course is £80.00 (includes membership/joining fee). The course will be for 8 weeks (approx.) and will be for an hour rather than 45 minutes. There are two beginner groups.  (Membership renews on 1st January each year).

If you are interested in signing up for one of our courses and  to reserve a place, please come along  on a Thursday evening  around 7.15 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. to  see the membership secretary.

After the 7/8 week course you may wish to continue training with your dog in the session after beginners (£5.00 per session) or sign up for one of our Good Citizen Bronze courses which are £45.00 for the course and test (Monday evenings, see the Good Citizen Notice Board in the training barn for details).  If you fancy learning some tricks after the beginners course you could look to go along to the beginners Heelwork to Music Sessions (fortnightly on Tuesday evenings £5.00 per session).  

The club training barn, Fennis Field Farm, Little Lawford, Rugby, CV23 0JJ.  Please drive slowly up the drive to the club barn (5-10 mph).

 If you previously attended the beginners course and/or wish to continue training with your dog, please come along to the group/session after the beginners 8.15 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.  There will be a charge of £5.00 for the session.  

Competition Obedience Group will be from 9.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.  The cost of the class/session will be £5.00. 

(If you have more than one dog to train in different class/session 2nd dog/same handler the cost for the additional second dog is £1.00).

The cost for a course is £45.00 (7/8 weeks).

Training is fortnightly on a Tuesday evening.

 Beginner’s class training is from 7.00 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. The class after beginners is from 8.00 p.m.   The cost of the class/session is £5.00.

HTM training takes a winter break, please check the notice board in the training barn for details or check with your trainer.

Agility members:

Class costs are £5.00 per session (if you have more than one dog training on the night 2nd dog/same handler please talk to the section lead/trainer, there will be a small charge of £1.00 for the second dog).
