KC Rally at Rugby DTC
Rally is a form of Obedience, but instead of set exercises, you and your dog work as a team to navigate a course with numbered signs, each with an exercise you need to perform together.
Rally is accessible to all types of people and dogs and offers the chance to compete while being a part of a friendly, welcoming community of like-minded dog lovers.
There are 6 levels in KC Rally, and teams progress through the levels by earning Qualifying scores at shows around the country. Each level provides you and your dog the opportunity to earn a Rally Level title, and once you have progressed to the top of the sport, you have the change to earn a Rally Warrant, the highest achievement in the sport.
At Rugby DTC, we run KC Rally classes every other Tuesday. Classes cost £5 for members, plus £1 for any additional dogs under the same handler.
Class 1: 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
Covers Levels 1-3 and is open to everyone.
Class 2: 8:15pm – 9:00pm.
Covers Levels 4-6 and is open to those competing in Rally who wish to progress further through the levels.
Rally classes are taught by our Head of Rally, James, who regularly competes with his two dogs, Goose, who has achieved his Rally Warrant, competed in the YKC Rally Finals, and represented Rally in Crufts display teams, and Pigeon, who is competing in L5 and has qualified for YKC Rally Finals at Crufts 2026.
